Besides, the event will generate avenue and safe platforms for motorsports enthusiasts from the UT.
The Federation will be hosting the maiden Autocross race, labelled as ‘JK AUTOX’, in the twin cities of Jammu and in Srinagar in June 2023.
The event will give a significant boost to the stagnant motorsport scene in Jammu and Kashmir.
“JKMSF also has plans to also introduce Go Karting and Safe Biking Competitions into the J&K Motorsports scenario which will not only be a first in the Union Territory, but also a significant initiative to stop the misuse of the sports and rash driving in the name of motorsports,” the press release reads.
