MC Kulgam starts Meri LiFE, Mera Swachh Shehar campaign

Kulgam: Under Mission Life, Municipal Council (MC) Kulgam on Saturday started ‘Meri LiFE, Mera Swachh Shahar’ campaign to promote waste management principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (RRR).
Officers /officials from various departments including PCC Kulgam, Forest Division Kulgam, school children, local youth and traders participated.
Officers from Municipal Council Kulgam informed that the aim is to instill pro-environmental behavioural changes in daily life, in line with the Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment)
The campaign aims to establish RRR Centers where citizens can contribute items like clothes, shoes, books, toys, and plastic for reuse or recycling.
Meanwhile, the Municipal Council Kulgam on Saurday established RRR collection centers at two different places in the district.
The campaign will continue and will culminate on World Environment Day with a pledge for a clean and sustainable environment.
