5 vehicles loaded with illegal mineral seized in Doda

Doda : In a major crackdown on perpetrators of illegal mining of minor minerals, a joint team of geology and mining department and Police seized five vehicles involved in transportation of illegal minor minerals.
District Mineral Officer (DMO), Sunil Manhas and SHO Thathri, Amit Katoch along with other personnel conducted a large-scale operation that resulted in the seizure of five heavy vehicles transporting illegal minerals.
This operation was conducted under the supervision of District Magistrate Doda, Vishesh Mahajan.
Prompted by information regarding illegal mining activities, the team of officials set up a checkpoint between Bhalla and Thathri area, leading to the successful seizure of the aforementioned vehicles.
