Pulwama : The Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC), Pulwama, Syed Abdul Bari Andrabi on Thursday chaired a meeting of the District Planning Committee (DPC) to deliberate and discuss Plan (DCP) 2023-24.
The Chairperson DDC reviewed the physical and financial achievements and deliverables of previous fiscal to ascertain actual gap analysis to ensure proper need assessment reflected in plan while ensuring ongoing infra is being prioritised as first charge.
Successful implementation and execution of plans to the satisfaction and aspirations of people and elected representatives was acknowledged and it was reiterated that people-led bottom-up development is key to successful outcomes.
It was informed that the plan has been formulated as per the approved ceiling conveyed by the Finance department in close consultation with PRIs.
Speaking on the occasion, Bari complimented all line departments, DDC, BDC and PRI Members for their participation and enquired about status of works.
While discussing the District Capex Plan 2023-24, Bari stressed upon all the officers to work with dedication and added zeal to complete all approved works in a stipulated time frame.
Among others, DDC, BDC Members of the district, CPO, ACD, PRIs and officers from line departments were present.
