Srinagar : Police on Thursday said that it has booked three persons under Public Safety Act for anti-national activities after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority in north Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar police said that the booked persons identified as Tawseef Ahmad Parray @Gasha S/o Ghulam Hassan R/o Andergam Pattan, Ghulam Mohammad Lone @Gulla S/o Ghulam Ahmad R/o Lachipora Uri and Shahzad Ahmad Malik @Shad Ponz S/o Ghulam Ahmad R/o Singhpora Pattan have been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal jail Jammu.
Police in its statement further said that it has accordingly registered the cases under relevant section of law against the above named accused for being involved in anti-national activities.
In the concluding para of it’s above quoted statement Police warned that it will take consistent actions against the persons found involved in the crime and reassured people to take all possible measures to curb the menace from the society.
