Kulgam : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat on Wednesday virtually inspected progress made on 5 Water Supply Schemes (WSSs) being executed under Jal Jeevan Mission.
The DC was apprised that these 5 WSSs include WSS Kanjikullah, WSS Bugam, WSS Chadder Mutalhama, WSS Nihama Motergam and will benefit 4100 households comprising of almost 30k souls and will come up with an estimated cost of 36.45 crore.
It was also shared that under JJM, there are 222 works of 143 schemes/projects.
Out of 222 works, 217 works stand tendered, 170 Allotted and 141 works have been taken up while 09 works stand completed.
The DC instructed the concerned to mobilize all men and machinery and ensure timely completion of all work projects of Jal Jeevan Mission across the district.
