Workshop on Innovation & Success Talks Prog held at GDC G’bal

Ganderbal : A day-long workshop on Innovation and Success Talks programme was held on Tuesday at Government Degree College, Ganderbal.
The programme was conducted by the District Skill Committee, Ganderbal and was part of the Entrepreneurship Festival week that commenced from 15th of May.
The weeklong festival is committed to ensure quality, consistency and convergence in the skill ecosystem of the district, besides generating awareness of various initiatives launched by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
The aim of the event was to reach out to the youth to encourage them to take entrepreneurship as a career option.
Prominent speakers like Shabir Handoo (Chairman Kashmir Angel Network), Abdul Hamid Bhat (Owner of Rahim Greens) and other speakers deliberated on the said topic.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah also encouraged the youth to take entrepreneurship as a career and assured every possible help from the District Administration.
Principal GDC, Ganderbal thanked the District Administration for organising such events in the college and expressed that such events to be conducted on routine basis, so that the youth can be prevented from drugs and other social threats.
The programme ended with felicitation of mementos to the speakers and special vote of thanks to Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal for working tirelessly to organize events like this.
