Single Window Committee approves 3 Quarry License Site Plans in Kishtwar Distt

Kishtwar : The Single Window Committee of District Kishtwar under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav , on Tuesday approved 3 minor mineral Site Plans of Kwar (Patel Engineering) & Pakal Dul (L&T) Hydroelectric Power Projects here in a meeting.
The meeting was attended by all members of the Committee including DFO Kishtwar Sagar Singh,Tehsildar Kishtwar Muneeb Umar,Tehsildar Nagseni Majid Jehangir, DO Pollution Control Board Mukesh Singh Bali,District Mineral Officer Kishtwar Dr. Brijesh Manhas, ExEn PWD Ravinder Kumar and ExEn I&FC Sunil Sharma besides others.
During the meeting, DMO Kishtwar apprised the Chair about various aspects of the quarry License Site Plans submitted by Kwar (Patel Engineering) & Pakal Dul (L&T) District Kishtwar before the Single Window Committee.
After thorough discussion and verification, approval for 3 site plans out of total 5 site Plans were accorded by the committee including 2 at Tehsil Nagseni and 1 at tehsil Kishtwar.
One site plan for Kwar was rejected and another site plan was sent for reconsideration.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar stressed for the submission of NOCs or otherwise strictly adhering to the guidelines and rules of various departments.
