Srinagar : A pedestrian was on Tuesday killed after he was hit by a load carrier at Aripanthan Beerwah area near Jamia Masjid .
Officials said that a pedestrian identified as Momin Ahmad Dar, son of Muhammad Amin of Aripanthan was hit by a load carrier bearing registration number JK04C- 8131 driven by Muhammad Lateef Sheikh, son of Ab Rashid of Kawoosa Khalisa.
They said that the pedestrian was taken to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Magam where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident
