Srinagar : A painting competition and free training in glass painting was organized by the National Child Development Council (NCDC) Kerala Region and Anchal Karunya Kootayma.
As per officials, the painting competition was conducted for school students, while free training in glass painting was also held for the general public, following which the award distribution took place. They said that program was held at Babaji Hall, RO Junction Anchal, and was inaugurated by some dignitaries, in presence of NCDC members.
“Children participated in the painting competition were selected in four categories namely Primary, Upper Primary, High School and Higher Secondary.” Meanwhile, Global Goodwill Ambassador Baba Alexander presented awards to Sabarigiri Group of Schools Chairman Dr. Jayakumar Sabarigiri, Punalur Municipality Councilor G. Jayaprakash and media activist Akhil Surendran at the function.
