Medical Superintendent DH, Dr. Virender and other senior officers of District Administration and Health Department were also present on the occasion.
The DC took stock of the vaccination process and inspected the arrangements put in place to facilitate the selected Pilgrims of Ramban.
Interacting with the Hajj-2023 Pilgrims, the DC congratulated them for the Holy Hajj-2023. The DC urged them to pray for the well-being and prosperity of the people of the district.
The vaccination was aimed to protect the Hajj pilgrims from various infections, ensure their health and safety, and protect them from any contagious disease.
Pertinent to mention that after screening, 115 people of the district have been selected for the Hajj 2023 and have been vaccinated at different vaccination counters designated at DH, Ramban, CHC Batote, SDH, Banihal, PHC Ukhral and CHC Gool on Tuesday and Wednesday. Later, the Deputy Commissioner went around the wards and interacted with the patients and attendants to enquire about the health facilities being provided to them by the Hospital Administration.
He passed directions to the Medical Superintendent to ensure that all medical facilities are extended to OPD & IPD patients in a hassle-free manner.
The DC directed the Health department to sensitize the patients and their attendants about the PM-JAY-SEHAT scheme, besides ensuring that all the patients shall avail the benefit from this universal health insurance scheme.
