Theft case solved in Miran Sahib Jammu, One thief arrested, stolen LED TV, one motorcycle, other items recovered: Police

Jammu : Police in Jammu on Monday claimed to have solved a theft case in Miran Sahb area by arresting one thief and recovering one stolen LED TV, One Motorcyle and some other goods.
In a statement issued on Monday Jammu district police saity that a complaint was lodged at PS Miran Sahib by one person namely Satvir Singh S/o Chamail Singh R/o Kotli Mian Fateh regarding theft of LED TV, Stating therein further that On this a case FIR No 94/2023 U/S 457/380/IPC got registered at PS Miran Sahib and investigation started.
Stating that special police teams of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna assisted by SHO PS Miran Sahib and Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally rounded up the suspected person namely Rajat Singh S/o Parshotam Singh R/o Kotli Mian Fateh, Police in it’s above referred statement further said that during questioning accused confessed his involvement in the above case and on his disclosure stolen Samsung LED TV alongwith (1 ) One motorcycle bearing Chasis no. MD2A11CZ6DCL26126 (2) 05 Water pump motors (3) One Drill machine, were recovered from his possession. Police in it’s statement also said that further investigation of the case is going on.
