Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir Police Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Anantnag on Monday presented chargesheet before the NIA Court Anantnag in case FIR No. 346/2022 under section 307, 302 IPC, 7/27 A. Act, 17, 18, 20, 23, 38, 39 ULAP Act of Police Station Anantnag.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the charge sheet was presented against a militant associate namely Shaheen Akhter D/o Bashir Ahmad Ganai R/o Tangward Brenti Batpora Anantnag and a slain militant Umer Nazir Bhat S/o Nazir Ahmad the Bhat R/o Bon-Dailgam linked with LeT militant outfit. Police in it’s statement further said that the investigation of the case is going on under section 173(8) with regard to the technical evidences, report of which is awaited from CFSL Chandigarh.
