DC B’pora interacts with various public delegations at Gurez

Stress laid on time-bound redressal of all issues/ grievances

Bandipora : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais, held detailed interaction with various public delegations comprising Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), Hoteliers, Contractors, Transporters, and Traders of Gurez Sub Division at Dak Bungalow Gurez.
The meeting was aimed at providing a platform for the local stakeholders to share their grievances and suggestions with the DC and discuss ways to address them.
The DC listened to the concerns of the attendees and assured them of the administration’s full support in resolving their issues.
During the meeting, the PRIs raised concerns about various issues, such as improvement in healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and road infrastructure.
The DC assured them of the commitment to providing these facilities in the region and emphasized the need for greater coordination between the administration and the local representatives and optimum utilization of Government funds under ADF, CAPEX.
The hoteliers, contractors, transporters, and traders also shared their concerns about their businesses and the need for greater support from the district administration. The DC while giving a patient hearing assured them of full support and assurance for resolving their genuine demands.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Owais said that the administration is committed to the development of Gurez, and shall leave no stone unturned in ensuring the growth and prosperity of the region. He said they are aware of the challenges faced by the people here, and will work closely with the local representatives to find solutions to these issues.
SSP Bandipora, Lakshay Sharma; SDM Gurez, Dr Mudasir; ASP, Sandeep Bhat besides other officers from the administration were present on the occasion.
