National Food Security Act: Distt level Committee reviews functioning of FCS&CA Deptt at Udhampur

Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya on Thursday chaired the District Level Committee meeting under National Food Security Act (NFSA) to review the functioning of the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) department.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmed Jaral, Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr Ranjeet Kotwal, DSWO, Kanika Gupta, AD, FCS&CA attended the meeting.
The FCS&CA department was directed to complete verification of all ration cards before 30th of July 2023. The ADC was asked to monitor the verification process of ration cards in the district.
The DC stated that the district administration is committed towards equitable and inclusive governance and mentioned that the process of verification shall be completed in a time bound manner.
