DC Presides over grievances redressal camp at Kulgam; listens to people

Kulgam : The District Administration Kulgam on Wednesday organized Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D.H Pora to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.
The grievance redressal programmes witnessed overwhelming response of PRI representatives, local people who visited the programme places in large numbers to flag-off their issues, grievances and demands with the visiting Officers for redressal.
Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat presided over grievance redressal camp at Kulgam.
People from Aagroo, Tengsargam, Ashthal, Nigeenpora and other areas participated in the grievance redressal camp and apprised the DC about their issues and grievances for timely redressal.
Officers on the spot responded to the queries and demands of people pertaining to their departments.
The DC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on the spot.
Earlier, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kulgam, Mohammad Imran Khan also briefed about the action taken on various grievances and issues raised in previous Block Diwas.
Meanwhile, grievances redressal camps were also held at Block Devsar and D. H. Pora where officers listened to and redressed the issues and grievances of people.
