Kupwara: Awareness cum registration programme was on Tuesday organized by the office of Deputy Director Employment, District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Kupwara in collaboration with Anhad Community Centre (NGO) which is part of Jan ShikshanSansthan (JSS) at KhumriyalKupwara.
The programme aims to sensitize/make aware the trainees/ participants enrolled with the organization about different initiatives/programmes of the department.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Director Employment Kupwara, ShabnamArif Mir stressed the importance of online registration on the Employment Portal (jakemp.nic.in) which has recently been integrated with the NCS portal and other recent development and the benefits that the portal is offering to the unemployed youth/jobseeker.
It is worthwhile to mention here that 42 spot registrations were done by the skill trainees/participants enrolled with the institute. The participants were also made aware of eligibility and other criteria regarding different incentive-based self-employment schemes like Mumkin, Tejaswini, and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative schemes etc of the department.
NidayaNazir Career Counseling Officer DE&CC Kupwara, Ishfaq Ahmad Wani Employment Officer DE&CC Kupwara and Altaf Ahmad Young Professional DE&CC Kupwara provided a live demonstration for registration on Employment Portal.
The programme was also attended by Arun Kumar TiwariProgramme Coordinator Anhad Community Centre KhumriyalKupwara.
