Jammu : Department of Political science of Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, on Thursday organized an interactive session on “LIBRARY E-RESOURCES: N-LIST and DELNET”.
The session was held under the patronage of the College Principal Prof. Minu Mahajan. The speaker of the occasion, Prof. Sonika, Librarian of the College familiarised the students about the various E- Platforms (both paid and free) subscribed by the College for knowledge enhancement of the students. She, along with Pankaj Talashi guided students about different Log – in procedures and resolved their queries. The session turned out to be really beneficial for students especially for those who are struggling through financial difficulties as they were able to access over 5400 E-books, E- Journals, E-Papers etc available on certified portals like N-LIST and DELNET without any monetary burden.
The session was coordinated by Dr Pooja Charak, Prof Paramjeet Singh, Dr Harmeet Singh and Dr Vandana Sharma from the Department of Political Science.
A total of 92 students participated in the session and displayed great enthusiasm. The event was moderated by Mansha and Ms Ashpreet, students of 2nd and 4th semester respectively.
The Department of Political Science and Department of Science also expressed their gratitude towards the Principal and Institution for availing such important opportunities for the staff and the students.
