DIG AP IRP Range Jammu inaugurates Kabadi Tournament at Jammu

Jammu: DIG AP/IRP Range Jammu Nisha Nathyal, accompanied by SSP Kulbir Singh IRP 18th Bn on Wednesday declared Kabadi tournament open being organized by IRP 18th Bn under CAP at Gulshan Ground Jammu.
According to a statement issued from Centre for Public Relations Office PHQ J&K Jammu here, DIG AP/IRP Range Jammu Nisha Nathyal along with SSP Kulbir Singh IRP 18th Bn interacted with the players and wished them all the best on behalf of J&K Police.
Police said that the total 8 teams including Jammu United Club, Tanda Tiger Akhnoor, Garhi Kabaddi Club Udhampur, MA Stadium Club, Kabaddi Club Kathua, Paragwal Kabaddi Club, Conquer Kabaddi Club Vijaypur and Shaheed DBP Sports Club R.S Pura are participating in the championship with great enthusiasm. The tournament will be played on knock out basis and handsome cash reward will be given at the closing ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, CO IRP 18th Bn said that the main objective of organizing this event is to prevent youth from falling prey to deadly drug menace and to channelize their energy in right direction besides to bridge a gap between police and public. He also emphasized that now kabaddi is not only entertaining sport but also makes career of the persons if played with enthusiasm and using best techniques available across nation.
