2 militants of Shopian distt killed in Wanigam village of Kreeri area in Baramulla distt : Police

Baramulla| May,4: Police on Thursday said that two militants of South Kashmir’s Shopian district were on Thursday killed in an encounter  in Wanigam Village of Kreeri area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a tweet Kashmir Zone Police quoted Additional Director General Police (ADGP) Kashmir Range Vijay Kumar as saying that two militants were killed in the encounter and incriminating materials besides some ammunition including one AK 47 rifle and one pistol was recovered from them. ADGP, according to the tweet, has also said said that both the slain militants had joined militancy in the month of March this year. In another tweet Kashmir Zone Police on it’s twitter handle identified them as Shakir Majid Najar and Hanan Ahmad Seh of  South Kashmir’s Shopian district, adding therein that both the slain militants belonged to LeT militant outfit.
