Srinagar: An earthquake of mild intensity jolted the parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, officials said.
The earthquake measured 4.1 on the Richter scale with the epicenter at 35.06 in the north and 74.49 in the east. The tremors were felt in Bandipora, Sopore, Baramulla and Ganderbal for a few seconds.
The tremors were felt at 05.15 am with the 5 km depth north east of Srinagar.
There was no report of loss of life or damage to property.
