Shopian : The Department of Youth Services and Sports Shopian on Saturday organised a Walkathon-2023 at Shopian, here.
The chief guest Additional Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Yar Ali Khan, flagged-off the walk in presence of Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shopian, Shahbaz Ahmad Boda, Station House Officer, Gh Jeelani Bhat and Principal Govt BHSS Shopian Mohammad Ashraf Allie.
The students from various institutions of the district and the staff of DYSSO Shopian including Zonal Physical Education Officer Shopian, Mohammad Amin Dar, Activity Incharge DYSSO Shopian, Riyaz Ahmad Wachkoo and Farooq Ahmad Mir, also participated in the rally.
The rally started from the Govt BHSS Shopian and moved through the main market of Shopian.
During the rally masses were made aware about the G-20 summit 2023 and the smart City projects.
