Anantnag : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Basharat Qayoom on Saturday inaugurated the Rurar Information Central lab, here.
The systems were procured by the ACP Anantnag and dedicated for e-services.
ACR while apprising the DC about the progress made in IT sector and online services said that District has progressed leaps and bounds in IT sector and hundreds of services are now provided online and district leads in online services.
He informed that various officials have been provided training for online services and their services will be utilized to run the lab smoothly.
The DC while speaking on the occasion said that the lab will definitely prove useful for e-services and will enhance the disposal rate.
He appreciated the work of revenue officials particularly for digitization of revenue records and achievements in land retrievals.
The DC handed over the latest designed computers to Tehsil offices to bring them to the latest technologies.
ADC, JD planning ACR, ACP, DIO, Tehsildars and other officers were present on the occasion.
