Change of Land Use: DC B’la discusses various Cases

DM directs Officers for issuance of timely NOCs to Applicants

Officers asked to Expedite the Agriculture Census Process/ Digitization of Massavis
Baramulla : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar on Saturday convened a meeting of District Level Committee (DLC) at DC Office Complex here to discuss the cases of change of land use.
The meeting after a threadbare discussion took various cases of conversion of land for non-agriculture purposes.
On the occasion, Dr. Sehrish directed the concerned departments to ensure timely issuance of NOCs to the applicants after proper verification of documents under rules of land conversion Regulations, 2022.
She also directed the officers to submit the NOC/ reports to their respective departments in a time bound manner and ensure speedy disposal of such applications .
The meeting also discussed the status of NOCs being issued in connection with the approved cases, besides their reporting and follow up status by the concerned departments.
Taking a review of progress under Agriculture Census, the DC said that the focus should be laid on the collection of data on the number of Agricultural Operational Holders, its land utilization, Tenancy status and irrigation facilities available etc.
She further directed officers of Revenue Department to complete the Census exercise and uploading of data entries.
Dr Sehrish while discussing the Digitization of Land Records directed the concerned authorities to complete the process of Digitization of Masavis (Maps) in the district within a week period besides rectification of digitized land Records.
Among others Assistant Commissioner Revenue Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad, SDM Gulmarg,All Tehsildars besides Chief Agriculture officer, Chief Horticulture Officer and other concerned officers were attend in the meeting
