DDC Rajouri discusses formulation of Education sector Distt Capex Budget, SAMAGRA Shiksha Plan 2023-24

Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal on Friday chaired a meeting to discuss the formulation of District Capex Budget and SAMAGRA Shiksha plan for the year 2023-24 in respect of the Education Sector.
During the meeting, the DDC emphasized the importance of completing ongoing projects under the District Capex Budget and SAMAGRA Shiksha in a timely manner.
He urged the officers to prioritize projects in the current year plan that benefit the maximum number of people and can be executed within the specified timeframe.
In addition, the DDC also directed to keep the provision of renovation of unsafe school buildings. This will ensure that the school buildings are safe for students and staff.
He also emphasized the importance of adhering to the budgetary limits while formulating the plan. He stressed that the proposed projects must be feasible and shall ensure efficient and smooth execution.
The timely formulation of the plan will lead to the efficient utilization of budgetary provisions and ensure that the projects are completed within the specified timelines. The DDC reiterated that the formulation of the plan within the budgetary limits will help in taking up the projects on time and executing them efficiently.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid; Chief Education Officer, Sultana Kouser; DPEO and representatives from SAMAGRA Shiksha.
