J&K Govt declares 2 days of mourning on demise of former Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal

Srinagar|April, 26: Following the death of former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal the Government has declared two days of  mourning across India on April 26 and 27.

A  notification issued by the Jammu & Kashmir Government reads “As a mark of respect to Shri Parkash Singh Badal, Former Chief Minister of Punjab who has passed away on 25th April, 2023, the Government of India has decided that there shall be two day(s) State Mourning on 26.04.2023 and 27.04.2023 throughout the country.”  The notification reads further “It has been decided that a National Flag shall fly at half-mast during the Mourning on all buildings and places where it is flown regularly; and there shall be no official entertainment during the Mourning. “These decisions are brought into notice of all the concerned for information and necessary action.”
