Distt Admin G’bal organises Block Diwas at Wakura

Ganderbal : District Administration Ganderbal on Thursday conducted weekly Block Diwas at Govt Higher Secondary Wakura for block Wakura.
The Block Diwas was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani.
The camp was attended by PRI members of block Wakura and prominent citizens of adjoining areas who highlighted the issues and demands pertaining to their areas.
The demands highlighted included augmentation of power and water supply, development of roads, dredging of irrigation canals and other issues of public importance.
The ADDC listened to all of the issues raised by the public and PRIs and assured that demands raised will be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt redressal.
He passed necessary directions to the officers for ensuring timely redressal of the genuine concerns and several issues were redressed onspot.
While interacting with the PRIs, the ADDC urged them to work in close coordination with the line departments to ensure their timely completion of works.
The programme was attended by CPO, Irfan Giri; ACD, Dr. Bashir Ahmad; ACP, Tehsildar Wakura, BDO Wakura besides other district and sectoral officers.
