Bandipora : Taking a compassionate step towards the welfare of the destitute families, district administration on Thursday distributed food kits among needy and underprivileged families to help them meet their daily needs.
The initiative was undertaken as a part of various activities under District Redcross Society.
The food kits included essential food items such as rice, flour, sugar, tea, and other ite The distribution drive was organized by the District Administration Bandipora in the presence of District Development Commissioner Dr Owais Ahmad.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Owais, said that the District Administration is committed towards the welfare of the underprivileged sections of society and shall continue such initiatives in the future as well.
