DC Bla reviews Capex Budget 2022-23, formulation of Plan 2023-24

Baramulla: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar on Thursday chaired a meeting of heads of line departments at her office chamber here to review the progress of projects being executed in the district under District Capex budget 2022-23 and formulation of Plan for financial year 2023-24.
On the occasion, the DC was apprised with regard to projects being executed by various departments in the district. She was also informed about the plans to be prepared for the financial year 2023-24.
After reviewing the sector wise progress of the projects, the DC impressed upon all the departments/executing agencies to ensure timely completion of all developmental works in a time bound manner.
Reviewing the issues hampering the pace of progress, the DC asked the concerned to monitor the pace of progress on a regular basis and resolve the issues hampering the progress of several works at an earliest.
The DC directed the officers to put in best efforts for maximum and optimum utilization of funds under different schemes.
While discussing the plan formulation for 2023-24 financial year, the DC instructed the officers for involving all PRIs in identification of all priority works to be taken up in hand for the financial year 2023-24.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Aijaz Abdullah Saraf; Joint Director Planning, M Yousuf Rather; SEs of R&B, Jal Shakti, JKPDCL, Chief Medical officer Dr Bashir Ahmad Malik and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
