Jumat-ul-Vida, Shab-e-Qadar, Eid arrangements reviewed at B’pora

Bandipora : The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Umar Shafi Pandit on Wednesday chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements for upcoming auspicious occasions of Jumat-ul-Vida, Shab-e-Qadar and Eid-ul-Fitr.
The meeting discussed various arrangements being put in place by the District Administration for the convenience of people across the district particularly at Ahm-e-Sharief shrine where a huge gathering of devotees is expected.
The ADC, on the occasion, directed the concerned officers to ensure availability of essentials besides uninterrupted power/ water supply, transport arrangements, cleanliness in and around mosques, streets and Eidgahs, medicare facilities and repairs of roads wherever necessary.
He also asked the concerned officers to conduct intensive market checking to curb the overpricing and illegal profiteering.
The meeting was attended by ACR Bandipora Shabir Ahmad Wani, AD FCS&CA Bilal Ahmad, ARTO Bandipora Bilal Ahmad and other concerned.
