Bandipora : The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Ali Afsar Khan along with the Chief Executive Officer MC Bandipora on Saturday conducted a physical verification of various developmental works at MC Bandipora and MC Sumbal.
During the inspection, the team visited various ongoing projects and reviewed their progress. They also inspected completed projects to ensure that they have been executed as per the approved plans and specifications.
The ADDC and the team interacted with the officials and workers on the site to get a first-hand understanding of the issues they are facing.
The officials of MC Sumbal and MC Bandipora briefed the team about the status of the developmental works and the challenges they are facing in their implementation. Khan assured them of all possible support and directed the officials to complete the works within the stipulated time frame.
He emphasized the need for timely completion of projects and their quality maintenance. He also stressed the importance of regular monitoring of the works to ensure their timely completion.
The ADDC appreciated the officials and workers for their hard work and dedication towards the developmental projects.
This physical verification is a part of the administration’s efforts to ensure transparency and accountability in the developmental works and to ensure their timely completion. The administration will continue to conduct such inspections in the future to ensure that the developmental works are executed efficiently and effectively, Khan said.
Concerned Junior Engineers and officials of MC Sumbal and MC Bandipora were also part of the inspection team.
