Chairman standing committee for Health & Education Pulwama calls on advisor to LG

Pulwama : Dr. Harbaksh Singh, the DDC member Tral and chairman Standing Committee for Health & Education called on Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar, the Advisor to Lieutenant Governor of UT Jammu Kashmir and gave an overview of developmental activities in Tral sub district.
On the occasion, Singh raised various issues, particularly about education and health sector in the sub district, wherein he requested Advisor to LG to take note of such issues.
Dr. Singh has submitted a written memorandum to advisor, demanding rationalisation of teaching staff in educational institutions of Pulwama, rationalization of doctors, commissioning of various buildings constructed under various schemes, development at newly annouced tourist destinations, completion of mini secretariat at Tral, and auction/handing over of tourist huts at Shikargah.
He also demanded up gradation of Middle School Kavil Tral as Model School, creation of posts at SDH Tral, and development/preservation of Astani Sharief Shah-i-Hamdan Tral, Astani Shareef Kousarbal, Gurduwara Tibi Sahib Saimoh, Deri Sahib Gurduwara Gulshanpora, Iman Bara Panner, besides Historical Temple at Nawdal, Tral through the department of archeological survey of India.
Moreover, Dr. Harbaksh Singh raised the issue of lack of lecturers in Higher Secondary, School in Hariparigam Tral and requested for creation of posts of Lecturers for the subjects of Zoology and Botany in the school.
Meanwhile, the Advisor to LG has assured DDC member that he will be visiting Tral after the Eid to review the facilities/works in the sub district personally.
