Jammu: An Assistant Sub Inspector of Border Security Force died due to bullet injury triggered from his own service rifle in Hiranagar belt of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police on Sunday said that BSF ASI was found critically injured by his colleagues this morning at BOP Gurnam in Hiranagar and was rushed to the hospital but declared brought dead.
“Whether it was a suicide or an accidental death, is being ascertained,” police added. They said that a case has been registered and investigation started.
