Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal chaired a meeting with members of the District Level Child Welfare Committee to review the implementation of Mission Vatsalya at the district headquarters here on Saturday. The mission aims to protect the rights and interests of children, particularly those in need of care and protection or in conflict with the law.
During the meeting, issues related to health, education and nutrition were discussed with emphasis on their importance for effective implementation.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of implementing the mission and directed officers to create mass awareness. Suggestions from participants were welcomed and their support encouraged for successful implementation in the district.
Participating officers included Additional District Development Commissioner, Pawan Kumar; Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid; Project Officer Integrated Child Development Services, Shoket Mehmood Malik; Chief Education Officer, Sultana Kouser; District Social Welfare Officer, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; Legal cum Probationary Officer, Shivangi Kant and other concerned officers.
