Dir School Education Jmu inaugurates enrollment drive campaign at GHS Ghagwal

Samba : Enrollment drive campaign for the academic session 2023-24 was formally inaugurated at Government High School Ghagwal by Director School Education Jammu, Dr Ravi Shanker Sharma, here on Monday.
Joint Director, HR Pakhroo; Chief Education Officer Samba, Kewal Krishan, Principals, Headmasters and teachers of district Samba were also present on the occasion.
The programme began with the lighting of a lamp by the chief guest and a welcome address by CEO Samba. A short cultural programme was also organised.
The Director highlighted various schemes for the benefit of students in government schools. He said that enrollment will be conducted by all heads of institutions in all government schools and asked teachers to strengthen their efforts to further uplift the standards of education in government schools.
The Joint Director said that more focus should be placed on pre-primary and primary schools to make a strong foundation.
CEO said that the enrollment drive will make the general public aware of the various benefits provided to students in government schools.
New students namely Saraswati, Jamuna, Simran, Ganga, Yamuna and Muskan were admitted for the upcoming session and were presented gifts by the Director.
