Srinagar : North Zone Police, Srinagar in collaboration with Gandhi Memorial College, Srinagar on Monday organized a musical event titled ‘Aamad-e-Bahar: A Musical Afternoon in Shahar-e-Khaas’.
The event was attended by Principal, Prof (Dr) G M Lone, SP North Srinagar, Raja Zuhaib, Senior Police officers, faculty members besides a large number of students.
In his remarks, Principal, Prof (Dr) G M Lone applauded the performance of participants and exhorted students to come forward and exhibit their talents.
SP North thanked the college for providing logistical support and other assistance.
Irfan along with his team mesmerized the audience through his live performance.
On this occasion, a singing competition was also held in which Jahangir from Amar Singh College, Wamiq from Gandhi Memorial College and Nafeesa from Khanyar won the first, second and third positions, respectively.
The prizes were distributed by Prof (Dr) G M Lone and Raja Zuhaib.
