Rajouri : Environmental Sciences programme, Centre for Biodiversity Studies, School of Biosciences and Biotechnology BGSB University, Rajouri on Wednesday organized an invited talk on Bioremediation: a promising approach for Conservation of Environment. Vice Chancellor BGSB University, Prof. Akbar Masood congratulated the Centre for organizing such an important session.
According to a statement issued from Public Relations Office BGSBU here, during this program the subject expert Professor Deepak Pathania, Dean Research, Central University of Jammu highlighted the concept of Bioremediation and its importance. He not only highlighted the critical importance of these new innovative approaches to clean the pollution from our planet, but also discussed on how sustainably we can use these approaches to save our Environment.
Dean School of Biosciences and Biotechnology, while giving remarks stressed the need of such kinds of sessions for the overall development of the students and research scholars.
After the talk an academic deliberation was also held between Prof Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor, BGSBU and Deepak Pathania, Dean Research, Central University of Jammu regarding the academic exchanges between BGSBU and Central University of Jammu for the growth of the Institutes.
Dr Shreekar Pant, Coordinator Centre for Biodiversity Studies introduced the expert to the audience and conducted the proceedings.Dr Mamta Bhat, Assistant Professor presented vote of thanks.
