DIC Jammu organises workshop on ‘Ease of Doing Business & J&K Single Window System’

Jammu : A one day District Level workshop / sensitization on Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) and J&K Single window system was organized by District Industries Centre Jammu in Conference Hall, Udyog Bhawan, Jammu.
The workshop was inaugurated by the Director General, Industries and Commerce, Jammu, Anoo Malhotra in presence of Virender Kumar Manayal, General Manager, DIC Jammu, Meenakshi Vaid, Joint Director Industries (Development) Jammu, Surinder Pal Sharma, Joint Director Industries (M&P)/ Jammu.
The DG Industries highlighted the importance of Ease of Doing Business and J&K Single Window Clearance System. She further noted that E&Y team should set up facilitation centres in each district of Jammu division for handholding of Industrialists/ General public.
Various Industrial Associations of Jammu, Industrialists/ Entrepreneurs amongst senior officers of different departments also participated in the workshop, Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Jammu, Jal Shakti Department, Jammu, Jammu Power Development Corporation, State Pollution Control Board, Geology & Mining, Excise and Taxation, State Taxes department, District Industries Centre Jammu, IT Team from J&K SICOP and Labour Department. A detailed Power Point Presentation was given by the technical team of E&Y on the subject.
Later, the queries of the Industrialists/ Entrepreneurs and participants were also addressed by them.
