Atal Dulloo reviews farmer’s orientation Prog under HADP in Agri, allied sectors

Jammu : Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Agriculture Production Department, Atal Dulloo, on Tuesday convened a meeting of officers and technical experts on farmers’ orientation under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in agriculture and allied sectors at Civil Secretariat here.
A PowerPoint Presentation was presented by the technical officer of Administrative Department in which it was mentioned that about more than 15000 training videos for farmers are to be held at Panchayat and Block level. The orientation programmes will begin from 24 April, 2023 and last up to 31 August, 2023.
It was also informed that every Panchayat will be covered to have overall impact of the envisaged HADP. Besides, a compendium of pamphlets in trilingual format (English, Hindi and Urdu) exclusively designed for farmers will be provided to them during the orientation programme.
ACS directed the technical experts to prepare a google format outlining the Skill Gap Study of the farmers and AV aids which are to be used for training of farmers regarding 29 interventions and Centrally Sponsored Schemes. This information will be utilized to prepare the analytics about the farmers skilling and their understanding about the proposed agriculture interventions, he added.
Vice Chancellor SKUAST-Jammu/Kashmir, Secretary Agriculture Production Department, Director General, Sericulture, Director General, Sheep Husbandry Kashmir, Director, Sheep Husbandry Jammu, Director, Horticulture Jammu, Mission Director HADP/Director Fisheries, Director HPM, J&K, Managing Director, JKHPMC Limited, Director, Agriculture Jammu, Secretary Advisory Board for Welfare of Kissan, Technical Officers APD attended the meeting while officers from Srinagar participated online.
