Three U16 Players Of JKCA Selected For National Camps

Jammu: After the selection of 04 players of U-19 age group for National Camps being organized by BCCI under the aegis of NCA, BCCI at different locations across the country, the National Junior Selectors have now selected three budding cricketers of JKCA for U-16 age group. The Camps are to be held from 17”April to 11’^ May, 2023 at Mumbai, Surat and Anantpur. The players have been selected by the National Junior Selection Committee based on their performance in the National Level Tournament (Vijay Merchant Tournament) that was held w.e.f. 1st December, 2022 to 23’d December, 2022, the Member Administration Brig Anil Gupta said here on Monday.
The JKCA Member Administration Brigadier (Retd) Anil Gupta further said that players selected from JI(CA are promising Left Arm Orthodox, Jeevesh Gupta from Jammu, talented Batting All Rounder Dhruv Sharma from Jammu, and speedster Right Arm Fast Bowler Mudasir Abdullah from Bandiopra, Stating therein further more that “young players will not have only the benefit of coaching from the best coaches of the country but will also learn from equally talent players from the other states with whom they will rub shoulders during the camp”. The Sub Committee members have expressed happiness at the selection of these players and advised them to make best use of the golden opportunity provided to them by the BCCI, reads a statement issued by JKCA on Monday.
