Kulgam : Taking governance at the doorsteps of people and listen their issues and grievances for timely redressal, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat on Saturday visited far-off Kounsarbal village in D.H.Pora area of the district.
People and PRI members from the village participated in this grievances redressal camp and apprised the DC about their issues and put forth their demands for early redressal.
The DC gave a patient hearing to all the demands and some of the issues of immediate nature were redressed on the spot.
He along with the people of village also visited land site for Public Park and approved Rs 25 Lacs for development of this maiden park in village Koursarbal.
The DC instructed ACD to take up development work of Park through convergence mode and ensure proper development of the park.
The DC was accompanied by ADDC Showkat Ahmad Rather, ACR Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz, ACD Mohammad Imran Khan, SDM Noorabad Bashir Ul Hassan, Tehsildar, BDO, AEEs from PDD, PMGSY and other officers.
