ADC B’pora conducts surprise inspection of Govt Offices, hospitals, Schools in Gurez Sub Division

Bandipora : On the directions of District Development Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmed, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Waseem Raja on Saturday conducted a surprise inspection of offices and schools located at Dawar in Gurez Sub Division.
The ADC conducted surprise inspections of various Govt offices in Gurez, including Hospital, Higher Secondary institutions, and Executive Engineers Office.
During the inspection, the ADC directed the officers and officials to remain punctual and work with zest and commitment for the welfare of the locals.
He assured of strict action against those officers and officials showing lackadaisical approach towards duties. He also stressed on maintaining cleanliness and proper maintenance of assets and records.
The ADC on the occasion laid stress on biometric attendance in the offices and directed the heads of all departments to ensure Aadhaar based biometric attendance of all employees besides maintaining tour and leave records.
He also listened to the various issues raised by the officers and assured that those issues would be taken up and addressed on priority.
Waseem Raja also interacted with the locals of Gurez, who complemented the efforts of District Administration Bandipora and requested the ADC for redressal of some urgent issues facing them.
The locals, particularly youth of Gurez, praised the district administration led by District Development Commissioner Bandipora for the untiring efforts and prompt response shown by them, particularly during the harsh winter conditions.
