Altaf Bukhari re-elected President J&K Apni Party

Srinagar : Altaf Bukhari was Friday elected unopposed as the president of the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) for another term of three years, the party said. Bukhari’s was the only nomination received for the top post of the party.
In a notification, returning officer for the JKAP’s presidential election Usman Majid said only one application for the nomination of the president was received which was submitted by Bukhari, who is the founding president of the party. “All the required formalities have been completed and as such, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari is declared as president of JKAP for next tenure of three years as per requirement of the party constitution,” Majid said. The party was founded in 2020, and this will be Bukhari’s second term as its president.
H&ME appoints inquiry officer to enquire charges against Ex BMO Beerwah, Others
Srinagar: Health and Medical Education Department on Friday appointed an inquiry officer to enquire the charges levelled against the then BMO Beerwah and others in case FIR no 22/2012 P/S VOK.
According to an order, issued by Secretary Health and Medical Education Arshad Ahmad Lone, Chief Accounts Officer in the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir has been appointed as inquiry officer.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Arshid Ahmad Lone, Chief Accounts Officer in the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir as Inquiry Officer to enquire into the matter in light of the charges levelled against Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Banday, the then BMO Beerwah and others in case FIR No. 22/2011 P/S VOK,” the order read.
“The Inquiry officer shall submit a detailed enquiry report along with his recommendation within thirty days positively from the date of issuance of the order,” it reads. “The Block Medical Officer, Beerwah shall be the Presenting Officer to assist the Inquiry Officer to complete the enquiry in a time bound manner.”
