Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Member of the Parliament from Anantnag on Thursday addressed a series of workers meetings at Shopian, Kulgam, Anantnag and Pulwama.
According to a statement issued from NC Media Cell here following the public interactions, Masoodi while talking to reporters said that Jammu and Kashmir has become a testing laboratory for the ill-conceived decisions of the government. “Far from delivering on its promises, the BJP has pushed the entire region into chaos. The disdain it nurtures for democracy is also not hidden from anybody. People have lately come to understand that BJP’s so-called development agenda was a lie to hide their real ploy which was to strip people of their rights. With their political shenanigans, BJP has plunged the entire region into chaos, uncertainty.”
He further said that the NC MPs have been airing public issues in Lok Sabha with a sense of commitment to our people. “Be it imposition of property tax, exorbitant increase in the rate of power tariff, scathing unemployment, and ordeals faced by our traders and horticulturalists. We have magnified people’s voice and raised it inside and outside the parliament. And we will continue to do so,” he said.
