Distt Admin G’bl conducts weekly Block Diwas at Sherpathri

Ganderbal :: The District Administration Ganderbal On Wednesday convened a Grievance Redressal Camp, as part of weekly Block Diwas programme at District Employment Office here for Block Sherpathri.
The camp was presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani.
The camp witnessed overwhelming participation of Sarpanchs, Panchs and locals of block Sherpathri who apprised the ADDC about various issues pertaining to their areas and sought his intervention for timely redressal of the grievances.
On the occasion, the locals and PRI members raised various demands and issues like upgradation of water and power infrastructure, development of roads, better healthcare and other issues of public importance.
The ADDC gave a patient hearing to all issues and grievances raised and assured timely redressal of genuine issues.
While replying to the demands, the ADDC said that District Administration is ensuring timely redressal of the genuine demands and a proper mechanism is adopted to ensure transparency and accountability at all levels and assured that all issues raised shall be redressed in a time bound manner.
He also gave on spot instructions to the officers for ensuring timely redressal of genuine issues pertaining to their departments as per their competence.
Among others, the programme was attended Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr. Bashir Ahmad; ACP Ganderbal, DHO, AD Handicrafts & Handloom, AD Employment, District Lead Bank Manager, Tehsildar Tullamulla, BDO Sherpathri and other District and Sectoral Officers.
