DC Doda reviews functioning of Rev Deptt

Says, “Officials responsible for Service delivery beyond PSGA days to face penalty/ action”

Doda : Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, on Tuesday reviewed the functioning of the Revenue department here at a meeting with concerned officers.
He instructed the SDMs and Tehsildars to ensure all the communication goes through e-office only. He asked the revenue officers that any of the service, if delivered beyond PSGA timeline, shall invite penalty and strict action against the defaulting officer/ official.
DC asked the Tehsildars to install WiFi in the Tehsil Offices and instructed Tehsildars to ensure officials down the line use Tablets provided to them for officials work and online services delivery.
The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, Dr R K Bharti, ADC Bhaderwah, Chowdhary Dil Mir, ACR Doda Sanjeev Kumar, SDMs and Tehsildars of the district.
The meeting also discussed the purification of data, expenditure of funds, SRO 43 cases, condemnation of official vehicles, revenue Court Cases Management System (RCCMS), Change of Land Use, retrieval of government land, attestation of mutations, SDRF, Agriculture census, litigations pending in various courts/ CAT, land acquisition, and other revenue issues tehsil wise.
DC asked to ensure that retrieved land is not re- encroached and the anti encroachment drive intensified in all tehsils. AP KEY GAON MAI APKA TEHSILDAR is a unique initiative of the district to address the genuine public issues by reaching out to them on every Saturday and the Tehsildars must take the initiative as a tool to get the public feedback, provide them services/ awareness and review the performance of other departments in the visited village. DC impressed upon Magistrates to create a database and keep an eye on OWGs and drug peddlers in their respective jurisdictions to maintain peace in the area. He has asked for augmentation of revenue buildings and monitoring of activities of other departments in their jurisdiction to maintain the pace of development and ensure the peace and tranquility is maintained in the district.
