Revitalization of Youth Clubs: Distt Admin Kupwara starts registration & mapping of unemployed youth

Youth to be registered for relevant self-employment Progs under Mission Youth Prog

Kupwara: The District Administration Kupwara has started revitalization of youth club activities in Kupwara district and in this regard different awareness camp cum registration programmes are being organized across the district.
District Administration Kupwara on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara has framed a detailed schedule which will continue up to 21 March.
On the first day of the programme, Accelerating Livelihood Generation programme of Mission Youth were Saturday held at Environment Hall Handwara and Block Headquarter Kralpora in collaboration with Labour and Employment department, Rural Development department, EDI, J&K Bank, KVIB, DIC, Horticulture, Agriculture, Sheep and Animal Husbandry department.
At Environmental Hall Handwara, a large number of youth from Qaziabad, Langate, Qalamabad, Handwara, Rajwar, Nutnoosa and Magam participated.
Another programme was held Saturday at Block Head Quarters Kralpora where youth from Melayal, Ramhal, Tarathpora, Reddi Chowkibal, Kralpora, Trehgam and Qadirabad participated and got themselves registered and subsequently mapped under relevant programmes of Mission Youth under supervision of officers of District Employment & Counseling Centre Kupwara and concerned BDOs.
On March 5, at Town Hall Kupwara one day awareness programme for mission youth volunteers shall be held where interested youth from Kupwara, Hayhama, Machil, Kalaroos, Sogam, Wavoora and Drugmulla will get themselves registered for relevant programmes under mission youth.
On the same date, an awareness programme shall be held for the youth of Tangdhar and Teetwal at Dak Bunglow Tangdar.
Similarly on 6 March, District administration Kupwara shall organize a mega employment mela cum Awareness camp at district level at Town Hall Kupwara from 11:30 A.M to 2: 00 PM.
From 7 March to 21 March, more such awareness programmes shall be organized by district administration Kupwara under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan- crusade against Narco terrorism and green initiative.
Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan- crusade against Narco Terrorism, in these programmes, youth volunteers shall conduct meetings with PRIs, teachers, parents at Panchayat level and aware them about the ill effects of drug menace and steps of district administration to get rid of this menace.
Under Green initiative on, 21 March, Afforestation drive shall be held in all the panchayats across the district Kupwara where DFO Kamraj, DFO Kehmil, DFO Langate, DFO Social Forestry and DFO soil conservation in collaboration with RDD, higher education department, school education department shall held plantation drives.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray has directed all Nodal officers to gear up and organize specific programmes at the respective venues according to schedule date so that more and more youth shall participate and take benefit under these programmes.
