Jammu : A team of officers of Motor Vehicles Department, Jammu, headed by Regional Transport Officer, Pankaj Bhagotra on Saturday laid naka at Kunjwani, Purmandal and adjoining areas.
The team comprising ARTO Board Of Inspection (P), Esha Chib, ARTO Board of Inspection (G), Pawan Sharma, MVIs Rajeev Kundal and Ranjeev Bhasin inspected as many as 200 vehicles during the drive.
A fine amounting to Rs 2,56, 000 was realised on the spot from the violators, while Rs 1,05000 is expected from the challans .
As many as 55 vehicles were challenged during the drive.
