60,000 gallon per day Capacity Borewell commissioned in Rajouri town

Rajouri: The Jal Shakti Department Rajouri has taken a significant step towards mitigating the shortage of drinking water supply in the town. On the directions of District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, the department has commissioned a new bore well, which will help in providing ample water supply to the residents of the town.
Ashwini Khajuria, ExEn Jal Shakti informed that the newly commissioned 60,000 gallon per day capacity borewell has been completed at a cost of Rs 32 lacs and it will benefit approximately 3500 souls.
“The commissioning of the bore well is a much-needed relief for the residents of the town who were facing severe water shortages for a long time,” said the District Development Commissioner.
He also said that the bore well will ensure that the town has a steady supply of clean drinking water, which is crucial for the health and well-being of the residents.
The Jal Shakti Department of Rajouri has been working tirelessly to address the water shortage problem in the town. With the commissioning of the bore well, the department has taken a significant step towards fulfilling its commitment to providing clean drinking water to the residents of the town.
Speaking on the occasion, District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal said, “The commissioning of the bore well is a significant milestone in our efforts to address the drinking water shortage problem in the town. We are committed to ensuring that the residents of the town have access to clean drinking water, and this bore well is a step in that direction.”
The Jal Shakti Department of Rajouri has also assured the residents that they will continue to work towards improving the water supply infrastructure in the town. The department has urged the residents to use water judiciously and to report any leaks or wastage to the concerned authorities.
