Srinagar : Police on Tuesday facilitated an interaction meeting with NOKs of Police Martyrs in Pulwama.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar the meeting was held on the directions of SSP Pulwama at District Police Lines Pulwama and was attended by large number of NOKs of slain cops of District Pulwama. The main aim of holding the meeting was to know welfare of the families of policemen who laid their precious lives in the line of duty. During interaction, various grievances were raised by the participants, who were assured that their grievances will be redressed on priority.
The chairing officer in his address assured the NOK’s every possible help and lauded the role played by their loved ones for the sake of nation. He also informed the participants that various welfare measures have been taken by the Police department for the welfare of the NOK’s and all the Police units are committed to provide every possible assistance to the families of slain cops and attend their issues on priority. He further said that police martyrs are an unforgettable member of Police Parivaar and taking care of their NOK’s is prime responsibility of police department as the martyrs sacrificed their lives for our better future.
